Apart from writing and reading, there is little I like better than talking about writing and reading (preferably over tea and cake or crisps and a pint).

University of Sussex students will be performing my new English language version of Chekhov’s Three Sisters at the Attenborough Centre for Creative Arts 21-22 April. Tickets are free!

Along with a host of other Brighton writers taking part in this year’s City Reads, I will be at the Nightingale Room on April 6th talking about books with child narrators.

On October 23rd I will be discussing the theme of ‘family secrets’ with Umi Sinha, author of Belonging. Part of City Reads 2015.

On October 21st as part of City Reads 2015 I will be responding (alongside a whole host of other Brighton writers) to ‘The Humans’ by Matt Haig.


September 2015

I am guest speaker at Shoreham Wordfest’s first literary salon on Saturday 12th September.


I will be reading and chatting with fellow Beach Hut Writers in the literary tent at Together the People Festival on Sunday 6th September.

I am at Waterstones in Brighton discussing narratives from a child’s perspective with fellow Myriad writers Sara Marshall Ball and Nye Wright, in celebration of To Kill a Mockingbird and in anticipation of Go Set a Watchman
